NextZero 2026 HVAC Lighting Application Update

Please note that the Incentivized Product Tables for the Prescriptive HVAC program have been simplified and updated for 2026:

Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTACs) have been added as a separate measure.
Minimum efficiency standards have been updated to reflect the use of the new SEER2 and HSPF2 calculations.
Wi-Fi (smart) thermostats have been added as a new Energy Saving Control measure.
ENERGY STAR® mini-splits have been removed as a separate measure, instead rolling them into the Air Source Heat Pump measure.
Incentives for heat pumps have increased.

Prescriptive HVAC Program

The NextZero Prescriptive HVAC Program is a fast track process for reviewing and implementing HVAC projects. This program is for commercial and industrial customers who have identified HVAC improvement projects and have procured cost quotations from licensed installers. Incentives available through the Prescriptive HVAC Program are based upon equipment eligibility and pre‐determined incentive per unit.
