Home and Multi-Family building energy audits can provide a greater level of information to those customers wishing to implement major energy conservation projects in their home or rented space. The NextZero Residential Audit Service is provided to those customers who have used the NextZero toll-free energy conservation hotline or online scheduler, and who qualify based on the age of their home & rental spaces, existing insulation levels, and other requirements. Decarbonization Audits (Now Available!)
South Hadley Electric Light Department offers a comprehensive whole-property decarbonization audit that works with customers to identify energy and carbon-saving measures in the home and around the property. This would be modeled to include building envelope and HVAC measures, as well as extended information on EVs, solar PV, electric lawn equipment, waste management, and water conservation. This audit differs from a standard energy efficiency audit in that it offers recommendations based on the carbon reduction significance, not just the payback of an energy efficiency project.
