Appliance Rebates
Peabody Municipal Light Plant offers rebates on a variety of ENERGY STAR®-certified appliances from air purifiers to heat pump water heaters. Refer to the table below to see if your equipment qualifies. Click the “Submit Online Application” link or download the mail-in application to see the full range of options and get started.
NOTE: The yellow Energy Guide sticker on your appliance does not equal ENERGY STAR certification. To learn more, follow this link.

Restrictions Apply:
- Appliance eligibility is based on the official ENERGY STAR appliance list available online at energystar.gov.
- Limit (1) rebate for each eligible appliance type per customer every 3 years (see exception below).
- New appliances ONLY – No used or leased appliances or appliances included in the purchase of property.
- Residential customers in 1-to-4-unit buildings ONLY.
- Utility reserves the right to end rebates at any time.
- Rebate amount not to exceed 50% of the purchase price.
- Qualified appliances must be purchased between 1/1/2026 and 12/31/2026.
- Applications must be submitted online or received at program’s address by 1/31/2027.
Exceptions:
- ENERGY STAR certified Wi-Fi thermostat are eligible if they control electric central A/C or a central heat pump.
- Limit (1) Wi-Fi thermostat rebate per customer per calendar year.
- Mini-Split HVAC Control rebates are eligible if they are Connected Homes compatible (go to NEXTZERO.org for current list).
- Limit (2) Mini-Split HVAC Control rebates per customer per calendar year.
