Commercial EV Rebates
The SELCO Commercial EV Rebate Program provides SELCO commercial, general service (GS), and municipal customers with an incentive for the purchase or lease of new and used all-electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). The rebates include a fixed/flat amount, plus an amount based on usable battery size. The rebate amounts are based on whether the vehicle is an EV or PHEV and if it was purchased to own or leased. Please see the table below for rebate amount details.
How to Apply
SELCO customers must apply for a rebate through our online portal:

Applications are not considered complete without the following documents.
Necessary Documents
- Vehicle sale receipt/lease agreement/proof of purchase
- Proof of Shrewsbury-based business (W9 or DBA certificate)
- Vehicle registration proving commercial or municipal status
Terms and Conditions
- This rebate is only for SELCO Commercial, General Service, or Municipal customers with active accounts, in good standing.
- Maximum of five (5) rebates per customer account.
- Used vehicle purchases must be purchased from an unrelated/unaffiliated seller from a different address.
- Rebates may not exceed 50% of the purchase price.
- Lease terms must be at least 36 months.
- This offer is valid for qualifying vehicles purchased or leased January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024.
- For commercial or municipal use vehicles only; not available for vehicles intended for resale or personal use.
- Business address and address on the SELCO account must match.
- This rebate may be considered taxable income by the federal or state government. Consult a tax professional for advice and to determine the tax consequences of this rebate.
- Customers must apply for a rebate within 90 days of vehicle purchase/lease. January 1, 2024 or later.
- New Electric bikes (e-bikes) are eligible for a rebate. Must be pedal-assist and meet the definition of a “low-speed electric bicycle” under Federal law: 2-3 wheels, fully operable pedals, an electric motor of less than 750 watts. For commercial or municipal e-bike use only (e.g. courier or delivery e-bike fleet); not available for e-bikes intended for resale or personal use.
- Electric motorcycles are eligible for the All Battery Electric Vehicle rebate schedule. For commercial or municipal use only (e.g. courier or delivery motorcycle fleet); not available for vehicles intended for resale or personal use.
- SELCO reserves the right to modify or end this offer at any time.

Commercial EV Charger Rebates
The SELCO 2024 Commercial EV Charging Station Rebate Program provides SELCO commercial, municipal and industrial (general service/demand) customers with an incentive for the installation of electric vehicle charging supply equipment (EVSE). Qualifying projects are eligible for different levels of funding depending on charging level capabilities, up to $5,000 per property. SELCO customers can install EV charging stations at little or no cost.
Residential customers are not eligible for the Commercial EV Rebate Program or the Commercial EV Charger Rebate Program, but may participate in the SELCO Residential Electric Vehicle (EV) Rebate Program.
